How many hotels in London

With the Olympics coming up i was wondering how many hotels in London there is, i mean theres going to be B&B's and then smaller private hotels and then the big ones like the Savoy but also ones like the Holiday Inn and so on I've found on Wiki that they recon that there are around 100,000 rooms in greater London, but as there is not official record then its pretty hard to work out, this number has been worked out by the Olympic committee.

How many of these hotels and B&B's will of ramped up the pricing for the Olympic period, i reckon at least 50% will have made bit of a mark up on the usual prices, but the clever people will of booked a while ago and not left it until the last minute.

St Pancras Hotel

If your travelling to London then you might need a hotel to stay in while your there, there are hundreds of hotels and b&b's in london but if your travelling by train then you want to look for a St Pancras Hotel as they are usualy very close to the St Pancras train terminal which makes them within walking distance for you.

Most international trains will start or finish at St Pancras if your getting off at kings cross then St Pancras is only over the road so you will still be in luck with a St Pancras Hotel such as the jesmond dene hotel

Garden Rooms

If your running out of room at home or just want somewhere extra to store stuff or chill out away from the kids, then a garden room from oeco might be a solution for you. A garden room is an extra room that is purpose built in your garden, they have many uses from music rooms to home gyms, they even come in varying sizes the smaller ones can be built without planning permission but the larger ones may need them.

Costs can vary dramatically dependant on size from around £10,000 from a smaller garden room to over £20,000 for some of the largest. Each supplier will offer different fitting options as well so this enables costs to vary too.
